We do not breed pedigrees alone. Dogs in our breeding program have proven themselves in the field. You have to have more than just a nice male to ensure a good breeding program. He has to pass on his genes along with his good qualities. Brood matrons play a huge role in our breeding program as well. Our puppies exhibit good personalities in their actions and training. In the field they are quick and snappy, running with that flashy tail. All have good noses, good confirmation, and intensity on birds. They hunt with drive and endurance making excellent gun dogs to shooting dogs to trial dogs.

Training Program

In the 30 years Charles has been in the business he has trained Pointers out of about every bloodline. He specializes in training gun dogs, shooting dogs, NSTRA and NBHA dogs. The training program allows Charles to know each dog on a personal level. From the initial evaluation, each dog’s individual program is designed to ensure the maximum potential out of the dog. Having force broke over 800 dogs, what stands out is to realize each dog has his own personality. If the force retrieve, whoa, yard work, field work, and standing to wing and shot is instilled in the dog correctly, it will stay with him 100%.
